The Sacramento Kindness Campaign celebrates the rich variety within our community, thoughtfully considers thoughtfulness when developing programs and policies, and works to fill gaps in services related to food, safety and shelter in an effort to provide positive solutions for each family we serve.

CELEBRATION OF COMMUNITY

- SKC takes pride in being an organization with a variety of members, including leaders formerly affected by poverty and homelessness, members of alternative communities, and persons with specific needs.

- We actively engage with the families we serve who come from various backgrounds. We listen to their feedback and implement ideas and strategies to improve the ways we are able to serve them.

- The programs at SKC are developed to provide access to the human right to food, safety and shelter.

- SKC welcomes and actively seeks volunteers, leaders, and community partners who represent the community we serve and can provide many perspectives.

QUALITY SOLUTIONS

- SKC recognizes the challenges that create obstacles to success for our most unprotected community members, especially families with children. Each family has a unique set of circumstances. We specialize in helping families remove those hurdles to forge a path towards having sustainable food, safety and shelter.
