Camp Kindness

Explore, Create, Connect!

This Camp Kindness series is an ongoing set of workshops that are designed to provide campers with four hour sessions of supervised fun. Each single- or two-part session features a fun theme with directed art activities, games, snacks, socializing with peers, and supervision by caring instructors that focus on building independence and compassionate connections within the group.

Each session or two-part session is a stand-alone camp, but families are encouraged to attend regularly to take full advantage of this exciting new opportunity to practice a wide range of art forms and build friendships with peers.

Adult-to-child ratios will be no more than 1:3 and group sizes will not exceed 10 children total so that we can provide focused and specialized attention to everyone in the group.

Camp leader(s) direct campers in a fun, directed theme each session. The daily rhythm will include a creative exploration of our theme, an art activity that gives children a basic understanding of a particular medium or technique, and time for social interaction. A focus on how to bring kindness and gratitude into our daily lives is always a goal for every camp session. Sessions may also include: games, stories or background information relevant to the project, snacks, movement activities, music, or other activities as relevant.
